Welcome friends, families, staff and passerbys!This is the official blog of the Grove School Art Department. We the teachers of the Grove Art Department will be running this blog, posting, updating, and doing our best to keep you informed of what we're up to.
Our goal with this blog is to give everyone a glimpse of what their child, sibling, friend, nephew...etc is doing in the art room while they're at Grove. We plan to provide you with a short blurb about each project in each class as well as student examples of work from time to time. No student's names will be used for privacy, however, we will alert students when their work is online so they can call home and say "Check out the website Mom and Dad! My artwork is up this week!"
Please feel free to log on here whenever you get a free moment to check our what is going on in the art room. As well, please feel free to comment on posts and let us know what you think of what we're doing!

I looooooooove it! Ashley, you are a Godsend! This will be so esteem-building for our students and enlightening for their parents and the Grove Community.I like the idea of a link from the Grove website to our blog AND a mass e-mail/mailing to parents to inform them of this cool new project of our department.
